Traditional English Tea

We received a wonderful wedding present from Ingrid and Eddie which we hadn't taken advantage of until today. We had a Champagne Traditional Full English Tea at Tylney Hall Hotel, Rotherwick.










We spent a couple of hours at the allotment this morning so justified in taking an afternoon out to spoil ourselves. It was wonderful with lovely relaxing atmosphere and excellent service. I must admit I could have stayed there for the evening and have a dose in the corner.

There was an added surprise. As it is Easter Sunday, all guests were given an Easter egg with chocolates. I think it will be tomorrow before we consider starting them though as I think we have had a sugar overload for today.














An even bigger surprise was that they brought us an anniversary wish written in chocolate on a plate with candles in half strawberries and a lovey fruit tart.
