I have been practicing free motion embroidery and applique on anything I can find. I am keeping it simple until I have more confidence. I had a strip of farbic left over from a cushion cover, which was made up of lots of strips of 2" sewn together.
Yet another book cover in progress and personalised again.
I got this scrap of interlining in a fabric bag from the charity shop and it is perfect batting.
