A bit of dressmaking

I have had this pattern in my stack for some time but never had the right reason or fabric to make it.  It is Butterick B5610.

As soon as I saw this Eyelet - Grey - Flea market fancy by Denyse Schmidt I knew it was right.  My order from staystitching arrived yesterday so I made it this morning before I went out to do some gardening.   It will be perfect with the pinstripe trousers or skirt I regularly wear to work and is smart but loose and comfy.

All french seams and threads cut off, all I have left to do is hand sew the neck facing and sew in the pleats at the bottom a bit longer so that it makes it a bit smarter.

The pattern only takes 1.5 metres so an absolute bargain.
