Block 3 Pieced star

 Block 3 of the How Far Will You Go QAL is a pieced star.  I used some of the Tula Pink and Amy Butler fabrics that I already had but as www.staystitching.com has new Tula Pink in stock I had to use the excuse to go along and buy some Birds & Bees.  It really is beautiful.

There are 3 of this block in each quilt so one more to go in this colour range.

I have cut out for the blue but it might be tomorrow before it gets sewn.  

Settling down for the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony.  I can't belive it is over but at least we have tickets to the paralympics so looking forward to more in a couple of weeks.
