Union Jack bolster cushion

While I was planning and sewing this, I knew there was something not quite right.  Now that it is finished and photographed, I realise I have cut the diagonal red too wide.   I have rewritten my instructions and have an excuse to make another one tomorrow.

I am going to keep going until I get it right.

This is my new obsession.

One good thing is that I am collecting a large basket of small offcuts.  I am going to start making a scrappy quilt top and just keep adding to it as I get more.
