Spoiling myself

I forgot to mention that I ordered a couple of fat quarters along with the beautiful Turtle Bay. 

Why is it that a parcel of fabric is so exciting and it has to cherished for a while before the sissors start working.

I now have these beauties.

I love the Eyelet - Grey - Flea market fancy by Denyse Schmidt and am going to use as the contrast on a dress I am making.  I think it won;t be long before I will be ordering 2 metres for a new Simplicity dress.
